During a tour organized by Intermèdes, I stayed 3 nights (November 19, 20 and 21, 2023) in this hotel and occupied room 110. This establishment is a beautiful hotel located 200 meters from the Faidherbe bridge on the island Saint Louis. Built in 1954 in a boat style, it has been renovated. The architecture and decoration are very successful with a beautiful mix of art-deco, colonial and local styles. Numerous objects and works of art decorate the common areas and the rooms. In short, it's totally successful on this side. The welcome is pleasant. The room is on the 1st floor (no elevator). It is a large bedroom with a large bed, a lounge area with sofa, two armchairs and a coffee table. A small desk with a chair completes the layout. A bathroom completes the ensemble: it has a beautiful shower cubicle, a toilet and a sink. There is no real view: the windows overlook the large interior patio and the hotel bar and you therefore have to close the shutters to maintain some privacy. In terms of equipment, the room has air conditioning, a small refrigerator and a television with a few French channels. There is no safe. A large bottle of water is offered and replenished every day. Wifi works everywhere. It's clean, comfortable, but there is a little noise in the evening from the bar. The bar is pleasant, as is the restaurant. The food is quite ok. The continental breakfast buffet is simple and correct. It is a good choice to stay in Saint-Louis-du-Sénégal.
